2. Refunds and Stripe
When you purchase a ticket, the payment goes directly to the event organizer’s Stripe-connected account. This means:
- Refunds can only be issued by the event organizer.
- Stripe’s processing fees are non-refundable, and this may affect the amount you receive.
3. Refund Policy for Events
Each event organizer sets their own refund policy. Before purchasing tickets, please check the event details or contact the organizer for their specific terms.
Refund policies may include:
- No refunds under any circumstances.
- Refunds only if the event is canceled or rescheduled.
- Refunds up to a certain date before the event.
4. How to Request a Refund
If you need a refund, here’s what to do:
- Contact the Organizer:
- Reach out to the event organizer directly using the contact information provided in your ticket confirmation email.
- Provide Details:
- Include your ticket information, proof of purchase, and reason for requesting a refund.
- Wait for a Response:
- The event organizer will handle your request according to their policy.
5. What If You Can’t Reach the Organizer?

If an event is canceled or rescheduled:
