Niki Fire Flame

Niki Fire Flame is a Portuguese performing artist, born in Lisbon. She studied artistic production at Escola Artística António Arroio. She began exploring circus in 2017 and has been professionally dedicated to the performing arts since 2019. Multifaceted and self-taught, she has developed her practice through unconventional training and short courses, deepening her learning with different artists and projects throughout her travels around the world, exploring areas such as circus, theatre, clowning, dance and acrobatics. She creates her own performances using fire as an element of transformation, as well as LED lights, shadows and special effects, creating characters and immersive experiences where technique meets expression. Specialised in circus object manipulation, she has developed her own language, with particular mastery of contact staff. She performs as a performing artist and entertainer at festivals, private events, corporate events and themed fairs. Her performances are adapted to different types of audiences and spaces. Alongside this, she develops workshops that bring together circus, dance and movement, exploring the body and creativity as tools for self-discovery and expression.
