These are all "strictly necessary" cookies under UK/EU cookie law — the site cannot function (logging in, buying tickets, keeping your account secure) without them, so we don't ask for consent to set them.

Third-Party Services

A small number of external services we rely on set their own cookies when their scripts run on our pages:

Stripe: we use Stripe to process ticket payments, donations, and platform-support payments. Stripe's scripts run on most pages of the site (not just checkout) and set fraud-prevention cookies (such as __stripe_mid and __stripe_sid) that help keep payments secure.
Facebook: if enabled, Facebook's SDK powers social share widgets and sets its own cookies. Because these aren't strictly necessary for the site to work, we never load Facebook's SDK until you accept a one-time prompt asking permission first - you can decline, and nothing loads.
